It's fucking cold.

Huggle this erm.....teddy bear.... :pedobear:
-
Yeah man. It was 50 this morning.
-
-6 wind chill in fucking Arkansas. What the fuck.
-
I had the best hotdog of my life today
-
Shiiit, it was -38 wind chill when I got up this morning. Didn't seem all that bad really, though the car really did not want to start.
-
The temp last night got close to -30 with wind chill occasionally around -60.
I was pretty surprised when my car started fine.
-
When your temperature is -28 but feels like -55, THEN talk to me. Until then - wusses.
-
This was the first time theyve ever cancelled school due to cold.
-
Come to NZ. I have an air conditioner on right now cause it's too fucking hot.
-
Not as bad as some but I woke up to -8 with wind chill of -20. Was also quite surprised when my car started. It definitely sounded like it didn't want to at first but it made it in the end. Then at the end of the day I came home with a high of 2 degrees and a wind chill of -10. Fun day all around.
For me its supposed to warm back up to the 40s by the end of the week though so that'll be quite nice compared to today and yesterday. I think its supposed to be in the 20s tomorrow too so woo hoo! >_>

It was in the low 20's this morning, which is pretty crazy for our area (Houston). People are bundled up like it's the end of the world. I'm just disappointed because there was no ice or snow. If it snows even an eight of an inch the whole city goes into "SHUT. DOWN. EVERYTHING." mode and I get to work from home (no pants!).

So weird that American cars don't come with block heaters
-
Some older models do but I can't remember the first time I've seen anyone use one.

It's a lot more common on Diesel cars, but it can be an option on some models. Used them plenty of times on tractors.
But, a block heater would not do me any good at work. I see them frowning on me running a 1/4 mile extension cord from the building to my car.

Actually, that day, the temperature was -22 and felt like -40, so
I KNOW THAT FEEL.
The Governor declared a "state of emergency" so that people didn't have to go into work.

Yeah, that shit didn't work for me. We got a friendly reminder that we will not be paid if we do not show up due to weather.

Same, I think he mainly did it so he could activate the national guard and make them plow the roads because our plow drivers were collapsing from exhaustion.
