Apparently Metallica released an EP in December ad I am just now hearing about it. It's left over songs from the Death Magnetic recordings. They sounds just like the rest of the album, which I didnt think was that bad. "Just a Bullet Away" is fucking badass.

I had no idea that this even existed!!! As of this exact moment I'm :57 into Just a oxet Away and am loving everything I hear. I fully intend to listen to the other two immediately after. At first read, I thought you were talking about the album they were doing with Lou Reed, which blows balls. 2:46 in now and I'm really digging that beat.

I've heard about the Lou Reed thing, but never listened to it. I didn't have high hopes. But hey, at least they didn't do something they Jay-Z... oh wait.

Jenne, I'm sorry to do this to you but you had to hear it sometime, it's best if we just rip the band-aid clean off so here goes......
Oh, btw, this collaborative album is based off some 1000 year old? German play, which is the only thing even remotely cool about it.

Part of me wants to curl up in a ball a pretend I never heard that. The other part wonders how much cooler that could have been were it done with Johnny Cash.
