question about sledding

so i finally got into a rhythm with my nation to where i dont need to collect taxes for 14+ days and i got my improvement swapping going on and all of that...

my question is though, when do i buy infra?  how do i figure out how much profit i have that i can actually spend and not screw up my sledding?

It's like this, on the last day of your sled (be it day 18 or 14) you spend all the money you have left on infra. Then you swap inmprovements and collect (make sure that you have enough land and soldiers before you collect since you did just buy a lot of infra and you popluation is likely to have gone up a bit). Now you'll have heaps of money on you. Don't buy anymore infra yet, just start another sled. Wait 18 days and do it all over again.

Though, depending on how close you are to major infra jumps you may want to adjust things according to that. But the general jist of it is above.

oh ok, so that's assuming that whatever i collect at the end of the sled is enough so that i can make it another 14 days before i have to collect again

or should i do it like that regardless of how long i can last and over time it should build up?

oh, also i'm doing 5 tech deals at the same time... it's a little harder to sled then because i have to take into acct the money i'll need to buy the tech.

What you collect will always be enough to last another 18 days of bills. If it's not, there is something wrong..
