So the MySQL we use for this forum is old and outdated, still works decent but there are a few backend issues that are un-solvable without moving to a new version. There are a few other issues as well that have been slowly stacking up over the years. Anyhow long story short How do you guys want to move off Ubuntu to some other server? Perhaps CentOS or Debian? Mabey even FreeBSD if I'm feeling extra crazy... Thoughts, concerns?

apparently the server ran out of space. i deleted a bunch of crap that i put on there forever ago and forgot about. ill keep a close eye on things till the weekend when i can sort out why its happening and prevent it so you can have your forums all the time.

So I'm looking into getting a gun to shot at stuff at the range in town. Obviously an AK variant would be fun, but they are surprisingly expensive at around $700 from what i can find. M4's are around the same price. And i actually am looking at getting a Deagle, but damn $1700 for a new one seems a bit pricey...though not totally out of the question.
Anyone got an suggestions on a fun and reasonably priced gun that a civilian can own?

Who are you voting for? Ive been doing some research on the various cantidates and none of the republicans look like they are even sane enough to run. And while hill-dawg doesn't look to crazy I cant say im a fan of most of her political views. There is also the whole Whitewater thing from the 90's that fell apart because someone conveniently died house of cards style.
