Why is it that when I should go to bed that it's so hard to fall asleep but when it's time to wake up I feel like I could sleep for several more hours. Why can't those be switched around?  The sad thing is this happens nightly.

Are you sure you're sleeping enough? Are you physically tired or mentally tired? What do you do before you go to bed? If your mind is mentally occupied, tried to watch TV or read a book, something that will distract you before you go to bed. If you're not exercising enough, clear answer there. Do something to exhaust yourself each day. It might be you're behind on your sleep or you're sleeping too much.

Stay away from anything with a backlit screen(Yes computers too) at least an hour before bed. Same with any sugars or caffeine. Just relax and get things off your mind for a bit before bed.

I think my problem is multimedia, especially the interwebz. At night is when I start trolling the web and I can't put it down. I'm sorry to say but I think the RIA is bad for my health but I can't quit you. Cacti is worse than a heroin addiction.

Yes, I am aware of this problem as well.  I found that the best solution is to set an alarm at what time your HAVE to stop.  Then, I go lay down and throw in an old episode of stargate.

If that doesn't work, theres always an Amaretto Stone Sour, that usually works.
