@Pterrydactylhis the last time I pirated something I went back after I got paid and bought the damn movie. Haven't watched the version I bought but I damn well bought it.

Also I used to give Ian anime, he liked it so much he went out and bought the series, it's the same concept.

To your first point, yes. We do dumb shit, but we've generally agreed that we will not do illegal shit here.

To your second point, so you're saying that the people affected by piracy are the no-names who I have never met, not the beautiful actresses that I jack off to? I've never found a streaming site that was really worth using. First off, none of them actually host any content, just link to dozens of mostly shady video hosting sites. They're mostly dead links too.
There was one I used to use from time to time, called alluc.

Torrent sites are a much better option, although the larger ones have mostly been shut down. there's always Pirate Bay, but I guarantee you'll be on a few lists if you try downloading any of the first few thousand most popular torrents at least. Although even if you do get "caught" you're just going to get a stern letter from your ISP. Probably.

Your best bet is finding a private tracker, but hell if I know how to help you there. God I miss Demonoid.

You mean the leaked pre-alpha "tech demo" that contained an exploit that would allow pirated copies to use the auto update feature that I assume threatened to destroy them in server costs? Sure, you can try to blame that on piracy, but it's an indirect cause at best.

Also, the game hit steam like 2 weeks ago or something and seems to be doing well.

im disappointed in you atonic. you didn't even use a real example. The link you linked seems to be exactly what undiscovered says, people overloaded his servers because they all updated at the same time. Especially when there are so many good examples you can find.

So do I.  I have not paid for any media for a decade.  I have been living in parts of the world where English language media is heavily censored if available at all. 

The Pirate Bay has beeen a godsend.  And it has also helped the US spread its culture worldwide.

Use the Pirate Browser to connect - goes through the TOR network to bypass controls an helps evade the man.
