I read that they want an important seaport there. They had been leasing it from Ukraine now they are jumping at the chance to own it once again. No one wants to start a huge war over this and that is Putins gamble.
This would make more sense actually. Seizing control over a relatively small asset makes more sense than a sustained invasion of such a large and historically bloody and politicized landmass. Especially since the EU is getting involved now... The Russians do however have, at least in their minds, a historical claim to Crimea. I mean the dissolution of the USSR wasn't CLEAN! I bet the Russians look at Ukraine taking Crimea as looting in the face of chaos. Considering they GAVE Ukraine Crimea while it was a part of the USSR, I'm sure they feel slighted.
The monetary systems ARE the nations.
America and America inc have become synonymous.
that's misleading though; the financial systems manipulating America don't represent the interests or ideals of the average American, and they are international/global; adopting a national identity would be contrary to their interests. It would put them in the public eye and draw attention, whereas now they can use nations like America as a smokescreen to keep the public ignorant. You illustrate that point by saying America and the associated financial empire are synonymous.
No I agree, they DON'T adopt a national identity, the US of A wasn't the only country who went into the middle east.
You know that public interest is highly malleable. The government and corporate empires have and will continue to manipulate the general outlook of the public, they're adept at that.
Anyway, i'm not saying its one way or the other. I'm not saying that governments DON'T exist as much as i'm saying that governments today are unholy offspring of an undisputed capitalist agenda and secretive, behind the scenes, opportunist corporate conglomerates that together make a resource hungry, and manipulative face for the combined allied war machine.
