it's a guy who made a mod for this game I play. I think his responses below the main post are the best. I read it all in a hokey russian accent.

And to be clear I don't have anything against people who don't speak english well, as they probably speak another language very well, one that I don't even attempt. I just think it's fun. Like a cartoon character.

Also this game looks cool. Reminds me of that Pirates and Zombies game I played.

yep, great game. I found it when looking for something like Escape Velocity from when I was a kid. basically a tactically deep space shooter with a lot of customization. the dev recently did a huge update after about a year of no update. So there went my weekend.

the modding community is a big part of keeping it interesting. here are some fun-looking mods with gifs and youtubes.

this one has super flashy ships that throw out lots of missiles.

its probably not as bad as you would think, most computer stuff is at least designed in America, so most of it has English names, and its more or less universal. On top of that you have to learn syntax and such that is its own word or acronyms to memorize.

The poor brits have to spell 'color' wrong though, apparently that's difficult.

yeah but i imagine reading source code is a pain in the ass with the probably mostly english variables and functions
