Random lnsanity / X-COM Enemy Unknown - Feels good bro

Looks like they decided to abandon that previous idea of a "FPS on the Wii" where you were some sort of investigator. Also, glad to see they didn't cover-based shooter it as well.
I'm actually fairly pleased with what I've seen so far, it looks like they went back to the roots and gave us the X-com that we know and love.

I have to say, Fireaxis had earned my money for no other reason than the fact that they listened to what the fanbase wanted, and changed their original concept to match it. Most of us X-com fans didn't want a FPS or a that atrocity that they were saying would be a wii game, we wanted a remake. And they gave us a re-imagining close enough to the original to still please the fans, but altered enough to make it friendly to those who haven't played before.
Defiantly gonna get this in october.
