Supposedly they're gonna sell the Twinkie license to some other company. The rest of their products will likely be gone though.

They are doing this to bury the union.  Sell the company and all of its key assets to a holding company unentangled by union obligations (read pensions), who can then re-open the same factories and brands with a lower cost base. 

This will create the opportunity for free publicity ala New Coke.  Americans LOVE their junk food brands almost as much as they resist universal healthcare.
