Saw it tonight. I enjoyed it. It was quite entertaining. Hope they make at least one more.

No, it was because of Sandy Hook.  But they super cleaned it up.  For example:

When Motherfucker was going to Night Bitch's house, in the comics he asks a group of kids where Katie lives, then immediately guns them down and continues on his way.  Also, in the comics, he did rape her.

There isn't an uncleaned up version.  To my knowledge, they never shot the rape or the kids getting gunned down.  It was just Jim Carey complaining because the characters doing the fighting are kids (while the actual actors are older, Kick-ass is supposed to be 17, the girl is 12, Battle Man is 16, and Ass-Kick is 16).
