He was in a lot of B-movies and got famous for his role in The Evil Dead (I believe this is where "this is my boomstick" comes from). He was also in Xena: Warrior Princess. More recently he's become famous for his role as Sam Axe in Burn Notice (amazing show, by the way, must be watched if you haven't).

Ha ha ha, looking him up now, he was in My Life as a Teenage Robot and Megas XLR too.
