Valve is offering Portal for free until the 24th if you want to download it. It's to celebrate steam's release on the Mac or something.

I only downloaded it to get me more maps and mods for garrysmod. Portal itself is dumb as nails.

I'd say we should dick around on garrysmod sometime, but all my attempts at making a server--even with ports open and a static ip--were a royal pain in the ass when it came to people connecting and having to download EVERYTHING with gmod I had in order to connect.

lol. I actually only have a build in Intel graphics card on my desktop. Luckily its good enough to at least run Gmod and Half-Life 2 for the most part. Strangely enough it could run Episode One better then regular Half-Life 2 if I remember correctly. Haven't tried Portal but I think it should work decently.

yeah U am plannig to get a labtop this summer, I find that I really need one for collage  (tired of using campus computers only to find out there are none open)  and this old nvidid rivia 128/128 zx can only play games with ddraw aka not many

at least I can play diablo2,planescape torment and  fallout 1/2
