In Soviet Russia, Mordor does not simply walk into you!

2000-2001

<_<;

And I actually found the site 8 years ago so...

I still go, though. I just don't seem to be seen a lot nowadays, though in the RPG topic, I seem to be gaining SOME tonicularity of sorts...

Random lnsanity / This is Why I Win

I thought it was Ah My Goddess...

I only heard about it because last year, I decided to wiki some info on that one Shakespeare Play with Titania and Oberon. Whatever it was called. A comedy one.

Turns out the name of it was also an episode of the show.

Seems on Wikipedia, the episode name took priority over the Shakespearian play. >_>

A Midsummer's Night or A Midsummer's Eve or something like that.

The show sounds pretty stupid and probably isn't any good. Then again, I could have figured this out based simply on the fact that it is anime, so whatever.

Meh, partial truth.

What show is that from? Or is it just a random image someone drew up?

It's similar to Live-A-Live in concept (Numerous different characters and whatnot who you choose who to play as in different orders, all come together at the end).

From there, it's an RPG in which Lucifer pretty much breaks out of his "cage" and locks God in said "Cage" and proceeds to screw around with the 9 planets, thus creating catastrophic effects. Jupiter's moons are colliding, Pluto (It's a planet, dangit!) is experiencing numerous jail-related problems, Uranus' civil war is reaching its' peak, Earth is dead, Mercury is filled with flames, Venus is losing water, Mars, the best military related planet in the Milky Way, is experiencing technical problems, Neptune's tides are screwing up, Saturn's experiencing riots and revolutions left and right...yeah..

>_> How about this: Instead of hyping it, is anyone willing to beta test it when I finish it? It'll be easy to code, but it requires some time since it's a graphical text adventure, and the graphical part of the genre title is being worked out by the 10 artists I've got at the moment.

>_> I don't suppose anyone here would be willing to "hype" it at RI for me, to an extent, yes? Casually mention the title among other things?

Random lnsanity / Anyone like the old SNES RPG "Terranigma"?

Also, it's related to Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia, if you guys have played THOSE SNES RPGs. <_<

Yes, I did double post again. ._.;

Is there a way to delete posts that I'm somehow missing here?

Thank God.

Also, amount of people who have never heard of Terranigma = Fail.

How many SNES action RPGs out there let you take control of a guy named Ark who is pretty much Jesus if Jesus wielded a spear and go lead the world by creating McDonalds, Australian Zoo, helping out Bell make a phone, and get your own Bi-Plane so you can travel to Russia?

I see...

Well, it doesn't matter anyway.

Gotta break some eggs to test the water and see if it's cold enough for a nice, refreshing swim, eh?

www.google.com

Look up "ZSNES" and download it, then put the file for "Terranigma" in there.

I suggest using www.planetemu.net for emulation. Just look at the right side for "SNES" and click it, then scroll down and look for "GoodSNES" and then click the "T" and look for the one where it says something like "Terranigma (U) !" or something similar.

>_> If they don't like me linking to roms, they can just edit the post.

On another note, is there an official set of rules for this board anywhere?

Edit because of a double post.

>_> Am I still right to assume that emulation would result in a banhammer if I ever linked to anything like that here?

Also, "The Door" in the poll is referring to an early early challenge. To start the whole story, the player finds Pandora's box in the basement of the Elder's mansion. However, to actually get to the basement, you have to throw pots at a door. Since the game is 2D, and the game never tells you how to break the door (And instead offers the choice to push on it), I can understand why some people would get stuck. The game doesn't like to hold hands at times.

It helps since I emulate most SNES games I never played as a kid. Such as the game Terranigma. The farthest it got towards us was to the UK...unfortunately..

>_> Self explanatory.

Tis my first poll. I felt like being a little bit...random..

In all seriousness though, has anyone truly understood the beauty of the story? Ever? o_o;

I always thought that "Du Hast" meaning "You Hate" and "You Have" Was supposed to be the whole point of the song, since the song itself was a play on wedding vows..
