You heard about the shooting in NYC right?  Where this one guy shot one guy, and then the police shot that guy, and hit 7 other people in the process...  Yeah, if people who are trained to use them can't even avoid collateral damage, how do you expect your average gang banger to hit what they are aiming for.

As I understand the story, the one dude shot another dude, and with the right cops in place, it might have ended there, but instead they got trigger happy and discharged in a crowded area.  Instead there are now 2 dead and many injured.  A better solution for that sort of thing would be to legalize duels.

I recall seeing MOST EXTREME POLICE VIDEOS on spike one time. 'cant find it now' Cops Fired like 47 or some other large # rounds at this guy and hit him twice. Yes Im exmilatary but I did not expert pistol or rifle. Even be for then When I was 17 out of 100 rounds I hit a man size target at 10 yards 88 times with my 45 auto. I have been out of the mil for a few yyears now and can with the same wepon put 7 of the 9 in to it at the same range in 45 sec.

It should also be noted that when fireing at people who some times dont need to be shot cops seem to hit every time. But when fireing at one who need it cops hit like Empire storm troopers.
