Title: TLC cancels 19 and Counting / Mike Huckabee is so awful I can't believe it

Someone mentioned to me that Mike Huckabee may have committed political suicide lately and I said, how could that be possible?

Huckabee already prayed for hellfire to fall upon the nation. That made him more tonicular. His son was kicked out of the boy scouts for breaking their rule of lynching dogs in front of other campers. His father tried covering that up and fired people who didn't help him cover it up and then covered that up. It just made people think he would go to far lengths to get the job done. They actually started looking forward to the Huckabee Jr presidency.

How about the time he swore gay people had a secret handshake?

Gay people actually started doing this after it came out.

So I was pretty unconvinced he had committed political suicide.

What, did he defend a serial child molester on the basis that he can't be that bad, he hates the gays and he'll vote for me?

Oh fuck, really? He did that? He actually did that?

Did you ever think you'd see Mike "the gays are child molesters" Huckabee defend a child molester?

I mean, kinda, but actually really? Like, really, really.

Even though I was absolutely correct and this will somehow only improve his standing amongst his fanbase, I still needed to sink my teeth into this.

I don't watch TLC anymore since they stopped airring... uh...Idk maybe I watched wrestling on there... but they had this show about a family that hates birth control but loves fucking called "19 and Counting".

Also, their beliefs consider kids a gift from God and who actually hates gifts?

I do. And I hate kids. And God. And beliefs. And I really hate kids. So I would never watch this show. Ever. And it got cancelled. So good. But, not good, because well, people were molested.

The Duggars were a role model family/cult for conservatives. Yeah. I know it sounds like I'm making a joke implying that the Big Papa and Momma wanted a cult but not the work of the recruitment drive and man I've been there. But no, that's exactly what happened. They are Quiverfuls and I'll teach you a little bit about them for the purposes of making this topic a success and keeping you awake at night with how fucked up this is going to get.

On May 21st 2005, some TMZ-like site exposes a police report stating that Josh Duggar, 27, molested five young girls, some of them being his sisters, over a period of time starting at age 15 in 2002.

You see, the Duggar family has a bit of conservative fan base given they are ultimate nuclear family, which I have plenty to say about later. But, they also hate gays, Josh Duggar himself working for Family Research Council which, and I'm merely guessing by the name only, is one of those conservative thinktanks that rationalizes barring gays from anything they can using """"""science"""""".

And if you really haven't fucking guessed yet, they aren't cool about abortion.

So, BAM, this news gets out.

This news comes out on Friday right after a literal TLC "19 And Counting" Marathon and it's so hard to go on after typing that out.

Josh Duggar resigns from his position at Fuck the Gays and issues a statement saying that he is sorry, without really being specific on why he was apologizing, but that he was sorry. I don't really know why he is apologizing to his sisters and the other girls through a statement to the press, but rich people do crazy things. Let's just assume it was convenient at the time due to all the reporters watching his every move outside his house.

I'm just saying, even though it's probably the most minor of details in this fuckfest, I typically apologize personally or never.

Oh, and a Judge orders that the police report is to be destroy immediately. Even though it's on the Internet now.

Cue Huckabee, who gets on...ugh...Facebook...and shows his support for the Duggar family, who only just earlier this month announced their support for Huckabee to President, by trying to spin the story.

How?

Well, by saying it's not the child molester that's the bad guy. It's the media.

Painting this as just typical liberal media reporting things that actually happened, he says he will stand by the Duggars and that they have his support.

Quote
Janet and I want to affirm our support for the Duggar family. Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, 'inexcusable,' but that doesn't mean 'unforgivable.'

He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities.

Right. Well I'm not actually sure they were open and honest about it. Or "dealt with it", Huckabee.

Let's take a look at what they actually did. So Big Papa and Big Momma of cult Duggar just found out their son is molesting their daughters and other girls. They then:

1) Told everyone they are sending Josh to a Christian treatment program.

Okay, well at least it's something. But, probably not what he needs. Whatever. They did something. But then:

2) Didn't actually send him there. Sent him to live with relatives instead.

Oh come the fuck on. Well, at least he can't hurt the daughters there. But then:

3) Bring him back home 3 months later.

Oh god. Now the girls are back to living with the brother who molested them. Please tell me there's another step.

4) Take him to the authorities.

Yes. Okay. This really should have been Step 1, but it's their son, they might not make the most rational decision right away.

5) By authorities, we mean, friend of the family who is a cop and he will give a stern talking to to the boy.

Ahhh! What? You mean, he didn't do anything but talk to the boy? Even though he would be been legally obligated to report on a child molestation much less than 5 of them?

6) By cop, we mean, cop who goes to prison later for having child porn.

OHHHH NOOOOOO. THEY COMPLETELY FUCKED THIS UP

Two years later, this TV crap starts for them and eventually Oprah invites them to the show. This part of the story is interesting because not many people really know what exactly happened here. But, somehow, Oprah found out about the molestations and contacted the authorities resulting in the creation of the police report that was discovered that sparked this story.

So, yeah, Oprah was the only person these girls encountered who found out about the molestations to actually have the decency to actually contact the authorities.

But, then, it gets even stranger. People noticed that these Duggars visited Oprah and no show actually aired with them on there. And through that, someone actually posts online that the reason for this was because of a molestation scandal.

I don't mean a good guess, I mean someone actually leaked this information.

The police question the Duggars, Josh, and the potential victims. But, nothing else happens after this. Until someone finally decides to report on this police report.

This idea that the Duggars dealt with their scandal open and honestly is a straight up lie.

Let's take a deeper look at how the Duggars' daughters probably dealt with their molestation.

The Duggars are homeschooled. If you are curious if their homeschool textbooks deal with the topic of sexual abuse, they do.

Ugh.

See, being deeply conservative Christian Quiverfuls, the Duggars taught their daughters that they were to marry and serve their men. The man of the household was the voice of God of the household and to disobey your husband was to disobey God.

They were also taught that women are able to tempt men into sin, including into recruit. Thus, the victims of Josh Duggars actions, likely were told to feel guilty over being molested because they were partially at fault.

Does it get even more fucked up? Well, yeah it does.

The Duggars practice what is known as the "buddy system". Because they have too many kids for two parents to take care of, they recruit their daughters into a practice of taking care of their siblings. This has the effect of not only taking care of the kids they keep having, but also getting the daughters practice of the functions of a wife.

So, not only did the molested daughters of the Duggars have to live with their molester, but they had to take care of him. Do his laundry, clean his room, do his chores. That's the buddy system.

You see, this is a darling TV conservative nuclear family. They need the buddy system so they can continue to exploit their children and privacy of their family for the TV. Children who

1) have no contact with the outside world including Internet access barring heavily controlled TV appearances.

2) are not allowed date or even to even kiss until marriage.

3) if girls, would have to live in the house until marriage. No college for them.

It's speculated that right now the oldest unmarried girl is frankly tired of taking care of kids their parents can't take care of and wants to go to college and their family is doing what they can to resist these devilish temptations.

Regardless, it's not even just the Duggars that have this sort of scandal. Their Church is plagued with these problems all the way up to founders who maintained a recruit camp and a system that pushed it's members to not allow the police or government to resolve their domestic issues, but rather have the church step in and use Jesus to solve problems.

In fact, with so many of their followers cut off from the outside world and lacking in higher education, if they did reject the church's overpowering strangle on their personal lives, they were forbidden from coming to church and being in touch with their friends and family.

It's likely that this sort of practice had something to do with the fact that instead of sending their son to a professional, contacting authorities, sending their daughters to therapy, the Duggars instead solve their problems with some extra Bible time. Bible time that drilled in the heads of all 19 of their children and more grandchildren to follow that women obeyed men and to disobey him was to disobey god. That women basically make and take care of God's gift, children. And without any sexual education that wasn't bible endorsed, or being allowed to date, or being explained any boundaries, to the molester, it may have been simply rationed by him that it really was the girl's fault.

And it's probably what the girls' were told. It's what they were taught. Or it was God's plan for them to be molested by their big brother.

Mike Huckabee stands by these people. He stands by all of this and seeks to dissemble what the homosexual agenda has done to this country. He intends to ignore the supreme court in lieu of a supreme being, one that may believe that the justice of 5 girls is not worth the punishment of 1 child molesting boy.

This is what I don't understand about conservatives. They accuse liberals of finger pointing and of the same hypocrisy when the media reports on stuff like this. But the reason why this shit is way bigger a deal, is because they've made the foundation of their character their beliefs. That, they are the good guys and on God's side for their beliefs only.

So, when you defend a serial child molester and a family that protected him because they are political allies, you better at least believe that dudes can fuck each other in the ass and not go to hell.

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones"

OK, I've criticized Oprah before for some of guests - Jenny McCarthy, The anti-vaccine playboy bunny, Dr. Oz, the questionable medical advice doctor, those "the secret" people.

Let's just say this balances things out.

Family Values Activist Josh Duggar Had a Paid Ashley Madison Account

But data released online in the wake of the hack on Ashley Madison’s servers certainly seems to show otherwise. Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary—a home that was consistently shown on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child—paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015.

This shit is so bad in the most exciting and horrible way, like George Carlin's skit hoping for the worst natural disasters to happen:

" I think it's certainly apparent by now that one of the things I enjoy in life is excess... I like things that are excessive. I like excessive behavior, excessive language, excessive violence... it's fun. It's interesting. It's exciting. I like it when nature is excessive. That's why I like natural disasters. All these natural disasters that've been going on, I fucking love 'em. I can't get enough of them. Ah, when nature's going crazy, throwing things around, scaring people and destroying property, I'm a happy fucking guy."

When I get the time, I want to get the scoop on the fucking Subway guy. Why hasn't anyone on here lost their shit about that guy? By far, the media has been ridiculously gentle with that story. Instead of jumping on the "Married Subway Spokesman, with young children, under investigation in child porn ring due to being a sick fuck" being plastered in a similar way as the Duggars, I feel like it was brought up for a day or two and dropped. I mean, this guy had a foundation FOR CHILDREN. And he FLEW THEM OUT TO HIM. Jesus, he was the laziest child fucker, and it's sick, and I feel like people need to lose their shit for a minute over that.

/$.02

Actually, after a quick search things get worse with this story too:

"Subway is investigating whether executives knew about Jared Fogle's sexual interest in children"

I wish I had a longer lunch to get more into this.
