Hosted a New Years Eve party but I was sick the whole time.  I stayed up until the ball dropped, now I'm upstairs surfing the interwebz while the party continues without me downstairs.

Same thing i've been doing for the last 20 years of my life, the 21st was no different.
Came home to family, went to the army officers institute (that's the local military club, we don't have a naval officers institute here cause this is MAJORLY an army base), where the parties are HUUUGE and are basically the best in the state. The military pulls out all the stops for occassions.
Reached at around 8.30, started partying with friends, coursemates, countrymen >_>, my girlfriend/ex works at the park hotel, which is one of the biggest here, so naturally she wasn't there, left me open to depravity. Met tons of girls, some old, school friends, the best kind of depravity imo. Mocked the dolty MC, jumped the stage when the DJ came on, when they tried to get us off, we threatened violence XD. At around 11.30, went back to my family, dad and mum were dancing their cute old people dance, grabbed my elder sister and younger brother, went to mum and dad, and we did our embarrassing family dancing thingy, but we didn't care, its like the highlight of new years for us. After the countdown, we group hugged and kissed, like always. I went to wish my friends, they theirs. I got kissed by girls i don't remember anything about, i made out with the whore of babylon...i mean school. Then the drinking started, i was just having mocktails till my coursemates spiked em...>_>, so then i was stoned and we partied till 3 am, would have done more but im OOD tomorrow so i came back home, family was asleep by then, got on irc, was too stoned to post much so i slept off, my dog slept next to me in my old room. I always stay at home on new years, no matter what. Its 12.34pm now, I woke 20 minutes ago, ive got a pleasant buzz surprisingly, mums gonna make me a late breakfast. Life's good.
Nice a new years start as any i guess, i still miss my first girfriend and my best friend, but meh.

@Brian: My relationship with my girlfriend is the most fucked up, ridiculous relationship, anyone has ever had.
She's my ex, from an incredibly BAD breakup, she's 9 years older than i am, i feel NO emotional connection to her, im quite sure she's still seeing HER ex, who's in the merchant navy, and is away on a 6 month tenure on the seas. My family hates her, my mom threatened to run her over with a car...my mom might do that.
My best friend, the only one i consider a friend isn't here, we've had a semi falling out.
