you know, i think this is the first time in years that google has actualy used the word 'beta' correctly... I think google calls their 1.0 products beta so get geeks even more interested, gotta get on that beta shit or you cant tell your friends you beta tested this awesome product... Then again, im on firefox 13 nightly so.... what do i know?

You can have open betas.

While plenty of early Web 2.0 sites abused the term, Google takes the term seriously I think.
