Well then, glad no one was interested. The r9 270x sold out where I was gonna get it, and I spent the money on something else instead. Screw ye all for a free ship and pass at the beta/game. It told me that before I even put it up, so I am assuming it somehow was tied to the receipt. I figured id throw it out just incase it was tied to IP rather then user account or sale. But I tried with a second fake account and it told me the same so...

When I do end up getting the extra cash for another 270x, I'll probably bump this or make another topic if it gives me another mustang omega. As for now though, the money for the card was put towards a oculus rift DK2 instead. I wanted to get my hands on a developer version of the rift, and I get the feeling the DK2 might be the last chance before consumer release.

In any case, just as a heads up to anyone who may be interested...

The 28th they are offering $20 Aurora sales. Not sure what it all includes, or what version of the Aurora it will be, but so far thats the cheapest price for a ship offered.

This is their yearly anniversary sale, so they are selling a bunch of limited ships right now. The grand finale will be selling one hell of a spend and limited ship, as well as the cheap auroras.

So...just incase anyone wanted to know...

Oh yeah, and jake. If I get the code to work, the stang is coming to you less you say otherwise. Now just as a heads up, this is kind of a special ship, and I just learned of a few limits about it within the past 24 hours.

The limits:
You can't melt (refund) it for money, it would give you zilch back.
You can't gift it off, so your kinda stuck with it. Not that thats a bad thing, it looks sexy as hell and I'm sure its fast as crap.
You can't fly it. Yes you heard me, its hanger ready but not flight ready.
You can't really trick it out like lets say, an Aurora...or the base mustang.

The Flipside:

It comes with a trainer ship till its flight ready. (Hornet I think)
It comes with the $5 hanger Module, the $5 Arena Commander Module, 1,000 UEC, Star Citizen and Squadren 42 digital download, and 2 months insurance
It has 1 engine more, and a bigger max powerhouse then the M50. Mind you, the M50 is a sexy racer ship I got to fly and fell in love with.

Will it win you any champion dog fights? Probably not.
Suit you for deep space exploration? With no bed and probably not much for scanners, doubt it.
Haul you some cargo? It don't even have a bed, you aint haulin shit!
Scare off pirates? Well, you might show your teeth, but you sure as heck won't sting like a hornet.
So what can you do? Haul shit? No, but Haul ass? Hell yeah! Haul ass as fast as Leo jerks to porn, or at least thats what it looks like in the stats so far. And from what I'm told, thats fast as shit.

There is no crossfire code, I'm just buying 2 cards to do that too, that both come with the same deal. Otherwise the deal is the same one I mentioned in my last post and linked to with the code earlier.

As for recruiting, lol, no. I just want people to play with (kinda drunkenly bought a slightly big ship, oops, lol)and figured it's a decent deal for people who are looking into it. There are people on the rsi forums who are telling them not to do the cheap aurora package.
