No bow or stern chasers on your 4th rate? If there were then it's a 3rd rate. Mind you I am using the Royal Navy categorising limits where the top limit of a 4th rate is 60 guns.
Anyway good thing it was just trade shipping, I wouldn't like to put a 60ish gun ship into a line of battle, it'd get slaughtered (could use it en flute I suppose).
