that's a really great game. I got srsly into the scenery once, i was making castles and walls and elevated swamps and so on, and people were just coming for the scenery.

i have the (3rd)? one too, the one that lets you ride the coasters. not as much scenery to play with, though, so didnt get into it as much. like building stuff, i do.

I remember being able to make some wicked partially underground roller coasters. Although my favorite was one that had 2 points of excitement and double digits (like 15 or higher) for nausea and intensity rating. That's what happens when you build a coaster with 20+ loops, speed boosters up to 70 and countless of other stuff.

i love that game, but i still cant figure out how to build things with roofs on them

every time i try, the damn roof falls onto the path and i get complaint spammed (i have a shitload of people in my parks, instead of normal rides i basically stack them on top of each other and make confusing spiral paths to get to them)

there's a button you push to elevate the scenery (such as roofs) but i forget which button.

in the second one. it raises and lowers scenery and booths and stuff. it's crucial if you are going to build buildings with the scenery.

I actually saw the second game now that I remember down at Circuit City last week. I didn't get it yet due to having no money from christmas shopping, but I am seriously thinking about picking it up here in the next couple of weeks. I think it comes with both expansion packs as well.

put the roof piece over the square where you want it, then hold shift. as you move your mouse up and down while holding shift, the roof piece will move up and down like an elevator. it's kinda hard to do on the 2d world though. its easier in rct3.

on a sidenote, has anyone played locomotion?
