E3 2012 - 6/4 - 6/7

It started today and goes until Thursday.

I wonder if there will be anything interesting announced. I haven't really read any news about it yet.

I know Microsoft's conference was earlier today, EA's is happening right now, Ubisoft's happens in an hour, and Sony's is in about 4 hours. For tomorrow there is Nintendo's at noon EST. Not sure about anything else.

Well Microsoft's press conference was a fucking disaster as usual. Didn't watch the Ubisoft one but Watch Dogs looks great.

The Sony conference was somewhat uneventful but there was plenty of gameplay videos shown. Beyond and The Last of Us look fucking amazing. Sad to see the lack of Vita news. The HTC partnership is nice though.

Electronic Entertainment Expo = E3

Its huge annual video game publisher/developer conference in LA. Many of the big name publishers/developers as well as the Big 3 console makers use it to announce / show off things in development.

Watch Dogs does indeed look awesome UB. Watched the gameplay footage a bit ago. Its like Hitman/Assassin's Creed meets GTA.

I didn't watch it, but Konami's conferences defined disaster. If Microsoft doesn't approach that level, they are successful.

In fact, Konami's 2010 E3 presence was so bad, they haven't shown their face in two years because of it.

Good thing XCOM decided to ditch the Wii, because I wanted to vomit when I saw the original trailer for the one on the wii 2 years back.  That being said, if they fuck this up, bitches WILL die.
