PbNation, a paintball board, 200k membersish.  I might be wrong, but I think Caturday started there.  PbN is since 2001 and Caturday is a running thread in the Small Talk section, been there for years, they make and remake it all the time.

Caturday started on Fark.com IIRC. It may have started on 4chan though.
