I'm going to put in a flag for deletion of my account on the 8th. Because I'm tired of the random invasive thoughts or nagging ideas of coming back and checking up on all the old faces here. I want to tell you guys, it's been a blast, these last seven years. I know I've been inattentive, and when it came to the game itself, I sucked. But at my peak of activity I felt a genuine connection to a lot of you, and that same oxheaded focus and unrelenting sarcasm/snarkiness has actually gotten me quite far in life, both socially, academically, and career wise.

But I want to hang it up once and for all. There's public reasons, private reasons, and some inbetween, but at the end of a day it's a realistic decision. I keep coming back, scanning forums, feeling mindless and nostalgic -- it's pointless. It's like deleting an old MMO account or, like, fucking Neopets or some shit. It's just gotta go. And so do I.
