you should try being a diplo to our hated enemies the RIA. rumor has it the members of their government structure post on these very forums masquerading as innocent civilian members of the peace-loving RIA. don't ask me where I heard that though. -looks over shoulder-
but yeah they'd probably totally be cool with letting you do actual diplomatic work for them.

On the contrary, the RIvolución was the smartest tactical decision the RIA has ever made. It caused the RIA's spies to reveal themselves, making it easy to target and eliminate the masterminds who were out to ruin the RIA.
If you ask me, it was a great success. No one would have expected the RIA to force a revolt against itself with the intent of "losing" so as to weaken the RIA from the inside over time so that when the moon shone high over the house of the Kenny, the RIA could return more powerful than ever and without its fiercest rival trying to hold it back.

No, because Obi-Wan was an idiot who could've simply struck down Vader and saved the Rebels from so much trouble, not to mention being a hermit along with Yoda for so many years while the Empire took over did nobody any good.
