I'm...a queen?

Does this mean llamavore is going to hit on me now? :v

Only if you're unsatisfied with Croix
Croix is pretty satisfying. Hmm.

Dude, you are awesome. Can I this? Steam profile is linked under my av.
added you bcos you play renops; we should blow shit up sometime. I finished most of the campaign on hardest setting but could use some help on the last few missions.
Just picked it up on the Daily Deal, so I'll probably suck, but yeah we can play. :v

I have not started a fight with ANY of them, and all three attacks were totally unprovoked. These attacks started happening right after RIA went to war.
I...don't think you understand what "unprovoked" means. When RIA is at war, you're going to get attacked. That's how alliances work. The alliance protects you in peace, and you defend the alliance in war. You don't cut and run and complain that your nation gets wrecked. We're all getting wrecked. That's just how war works. If you actually stuck around RIA would help you get back on your feet, but instead you're just surrendering scum. It's one thing if you, say, didn't have access to a computer to actually keep yourself from being rolled, but running just because it means your nation gets damaged is frowned upon...just about everywhere. Not a lot of alliances take deserters either, except NoR apparently, heh.

Also, I found this funny:

Random lnsanity / Re: Steam Holiday Sale (Dec. 19 - Jan. 1)
« on: December 21, 2011, 10:47:26 pm »
So far I have:
  • All the Sanctum level DLC
  • Orcs Must Die! and accompanying DLC
  • Greed Corp
  • Altitude
  • Dogfighter
  • Unreal Tournament pack
  • Recettear
  • Chantelise
  • Dungeons of Dredmor DLC
  • Monday Night Combat
  • Portal DLC for Defense Grid
As well as a Nice Winter Crate Key in TF2 and a couple Explorer's Packs in Spiral Knights. Also have my eyes on Team Fortress Classic, Saints Row: The Third, SkyDrift, Sonic Generations, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Counter-Strike: Source, Worms Reloaded, and Dungeon Defenders depending on how prices go.

This is the first Steam sale I've been around for when I've actually had money, so this is going to hurt. :v

I've been looking for that.

And of course I don't have either of the systems this is available on.

My Val target has had similar luck. He had 10K infra to my 6K, but when I declared on him he hadn't yet rebought, so he only had a couple hundred soldiers. I deployed 500 soliders and 200 tanks, got 60% odds out of it, attacked, attacked, attacked at 50% odds, failed. I was pretty bummed at it. Then he proceeded to attack back and fail both despite superior numbers. The same thing happened after update. I sent him this:

I have mine turned up all the way and it really doesn't bother me. It does it for less in 7 than it does in Vista, but I had it didn't really bother me then either.

Oh and stop running as an Admin for every day things

Use a limited account.

You can right click "exe" and "msi", hit "Run as", select your admin user and type your password.

No need to even log out.

If you insist on running as Admin, please use VAC or whatever the fuck it's called

Or be a man and run something *nix
VAC is a Steam thing. :P UAC's pretty good and I'd never go without it. You should still technically be using a user-level account and use UAC to elevate, but UAC hasn't been circumvented yet so if you feel like being lazy, you can.

The crying people made over it when it was introduced was hilarious too. Clicking a prompt every once in a while does not hurt, and goes miles towards proper security which most people simply didn't practice in XP.

Ohhhh. That makes sense about the tech and stuff.

But yeah, I'm old. lol HOLY CRAP I WAS 14 WHEN I JOINED CYBERNATIONS. Gah. Thanks for making me feel super old, guys.
You don't beat Midas. He was something like 10 when he joined. :P

Also, 50 tech will be paid out too (or another nation you nominate):

brian, Ogaden, SnowboundMilk, CommanderX, Lord Trafalgar, Locke, Myrrh, Thunder Strike, biofantic and Leo.

This is the 500 tech of "random" spot prizes to people who participated (read: actually played a game).
Sweet, I get tech despite sucking horribly. :v
