Seeing as you are under a week old, I also suggest you read these guides

Nation Building Guide
A Beginners Guide to UltraViolence

Buy Infra (in 10s), sell Tech (in 50s), buy Land (only when it tells you to, in 20s), buy Soldiers only(No Tanks or CMs unless you're at war), Defcom 5 always unless war, if you have 50 tech never buy anymore if you're selling it.
