Happy New Year's 2012 RIA! It has been absolutely a pleasure working (and joking) with you guys and girls! I'm really glad I came here as a diplomat (where else could I get a good laugh?). I hope that next year will bring more fun memories. I definitely look forward to it!

I should really make New Year topics every year to brag about being the first into the New Year.

And I would wish everyone a Happy New Year but everyone knows the world is going to end now.

Me and one of my friends have discussed for years the possibility of doing two new years in one year.  The plan was to start in Sydney, being the first major city in the world to enter the new year and then fly to Honolulu in the morning.  Though not sure if we could work it out.  I guess a lot would depend on if we could go direct or if we had to fly through LAX.  I guess if I ever hit the lottery, I'll have to try it.
