Got any good ones? My main one takes a few months to release a new one.
-
I only really do welcome to nightvale
-
I listen to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and that has brought me to the Joe Rogan Experience which in turn has opened all sorts of doors for me. This nightvale thing looks interesting.

what's a podcast?

It's something I like, so you probably wouldn't dig it at all.

you don't know me.

edit: Somehow skipped over the part where you mentioned you already listen to Hardcore History and JRE.
I listen to those in addition to Nerdist, Startalk, and Stuff You Should Know. People always tell me The Bugle is great but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I'm :f5: for Blueprint II, that's why I'm finally branching out.
-
The Church of Whats Happening Now is pretty good if you can get past the coughing.
-
I listen to Hardcore History too, Baron of Beef got me into it after he said you did the same to him

It's great. I just wish he'd come out with the new one already.
You have a favorite episode/series?

I think the Death Throes of the Republic was the best series so far

I probably agree with this. Wrath of Khans had some pretty intense stuff in it too. An earlier, and now available only by purchase, is the Ghosts of the Ostfront series all about the Eastern front of WW2. That one is amazing too. After the first Blueprint episode, I'm thinking it will be his best.

Milk…I hate you…I hate you oh so much right now.

Is this one to start from the beginning or just listen to the newest one?

I got through the first like, 6 podcasts that first night. Got up to number like 16 by the end of the week. Started to slow down after that though, as I have been finding less time to pay attention to the iPod. Just passed the one year mark a few days ago. Still loving it, still throwing it on when I have a chance.
The only thing I DONT like about it? Once I get caught up I will have to wait for new eps. Which is another reason why I started to slow down with it.
But yeah, good stuff. Introduced a few other pals of mine to it too. Thanks a lot snow!

Dan just replied to a "Where is it?" thread and said "about a week" for Blueprint for Armageddon III. Even if you only have a passing interest in history, Dan is a great story teller.
-
If you're familiar with Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole (from Fox Sports 1, formerly of TSN), even if you aren't, listen to the Jay and Dan Podcast, right from the beginning. I think RIA members would appreciate the poop jokes.

Blueprint for Armageddon III is out!

Dan referenced this image in the episode as a good example of what he called the "historical estuary" of 19th and 20th century warfare:

WWI was a really bizarre war.
