I had a job at the local ice cream place, got it about a month ago. I thought all was going well; the last few shifts I've worked (First ones that weren't "Training shifts", and essentially the only ones that I've worked the front) I've been getting better and faster at my job, more confident in my work. Well today they blindsided me by "letting me go" after today's shift, saying that while they liked the way I handled customers and my dedication to my job (I was ALWAYS early and ALWAYS left late), I wasn't "progressing fast enough" in my skills and speed, and it wouldn't be fair to myself or the customers if they kept me on. First I had heard of any problem.

Naturally I'm a little upset about this, and I thought this would be the the best place to see if anyone could cheer me up. So RIA, I've put my faith in you, don't let me down.

I'm Rorick. I joined CN a year ago and proceded to RIA. proceded to learn and grow with them for almost a year. I fought through UW2 against TOOL. I left two months ago to look at other alliances and now I'm back here.

Ok, so Shaiyan and I were debating the idea of possible time travel, and I'm moving that debate over here.


Ok, yes ONE way is to travel faster than the speed of light, but that's only to go BACK in time. The faster you go in space, the slower time gets relative to the person. Knowing that, one can theorize that if you start traveling faster that the speed of light, one will begin to travel backwards in time. You say no one knows if wormholes exist, well at one time most people thought black holes were a bunch of hooey. I mean, a giant, invisible mass able to suck in something so fast as light? If we didn't know it existed today, we'd still think it was impossible. And even if Wormholes don't exist naturally, who's to say we couldn't synthesize them? We can create microscopic black holes with particle collider, if that's possible, why can't we create a worm hole?

Edit: Never mind, I found my answers....
