The Cat can be a little funky. I have just set up my C1 with 3 large lasers, double heatsinks, and a 315XL engine. I focus on making headhots, and run away at 80kph from anything that scares me. I have never used the Cicada, but Llamavore says it is badass.
I vote we name ourselves Trainstorm.

I said it looks badass; the variant I got is kind of difficult to use actually. catapult is more versatile, recommend c4 or k2, although a lot of people take the c1 with 6 streak missiles.

I like the Trainstorm name.
I thought the C1 was the Founder mech - I guess mine is the A1. I just equipped it with Artemis and and fiddling with SRM6s. I had to replace the 3 large lasers with Mediums to fit it in. It is a fast mover that hits hard as hell, and does a respectable job in recon work...

I still havent actually played, I installed it, but LoL calls to me more often.

Mechwarrior is atheistic, aesthetic, and ascetic. Metal glows and oil boils in the laser and PPC furnace of battle.
LoL is full of ponies and rainbows and magic and fairie dust, only some of which would be useful in mech design and combat.
