There was this guy I was really good friends with who was a year younger than me and who I developed this HUGE crush on. He knew I liked him and as far as I knew he digged me too. Well it's been more than a year since I last heard from him...he kind of disappeared. It was pretty sad. He'd come to mind some days and I'd wonder what happened to him and all....and well on Saturday I had decided to check my Xangas (gosh, I remember when that was the thing to have.) and I had all these comments and what not and a few messages. They were from him! And they were dated back to the 26th of July...when I was in Baltimore. Anywho...he has been trying to reconnect with me and he's gone as far as to go to my friends Xangas and ask them for information on me. So I went to the Xanga he had commented from and he tells me why he disappeared. He came to the realization that he is gay. He was a coward and ashamed to tell me. So he's been trying to find me and the quote in my sig is from him. He says I was the only girl he's ever been attracted to and that this time he won't run away.
This all blew my mind. I don't know what to do or say or what to even think for that matter.

The thing is, if he was gay, I really wouldn't care. You know? He's a great friend and I love the kid no matter what. I'm just upset at the fact that it took him well over a year to even tell me. He knows me better than anyone and knows I wouldn't judge him.
It's just the stuff he's written to me that I read recently makes me so confused. *falls on floor in utter confusion*

We both ended up regretting it, but we didn't sinc with when we regretted it. We stopped talking after I asked her out in February and got rejected. Now I miss talking to her, and it's inflicted on you all since talking with her usually helped me straighten out my myriad bad moods.

Ladder theory is oxshit but they got that part right. But we won't respect you if you make it too easy. Last girl I dated threw herself at me for a while and made me really NOT want to be involved, and it was only when she finally backed off some that I started chasing her.
Also whether that guy is gay or not, he sounds like a pussy, and I can assure you that you could do better.

I have to agree with IS. Guys are not confusing. Stupid? Often. Confusing? Rarely. Of course, getting right down to it, girls aren't confusing either. The problem is that people in general are just in a constant state of confusion themselves (especially your guy, aparently), and anything directed at us by the opposite sex just amplifies that, making it seem as if they are confusing when it is realy just us. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about.
