Juuuuust saying hi!

I kind of found CN accidentally, while trying to reminisce about nationstates.  But that site is all role play and not my cup of tea.  So here I am!

I would like to get in on the IRC... I would appreciate it if someone could help get me started on that.  For instance, is there a client I should download for my Mac?  I tried running IRC off the coldfront site and my computer slowed to a crawl.

Oh CN has RP too, but CN RP if far more realistic and the boundary between RP and RL is really blurred, and hence, 'RP' here has far more significant consequences.

As for IRC, just use this link - RIA chat, when in the public channel, ask for a gov member and you'll be helped into our private channel.

Well, for example...  If an officer is giving me orders to attack, we don't have to narrate a scene where he has just left smoky back-room war chambers, in detailed regalia, to deliver commands.  And I have a backstory romance playing significantly into the drama of where I am attacking...

that's too schmuch for me.
