Currently a vote to delete the entire thing to save 5GB of DB space, and making our search form functional, and reducing load times, is being drafted up for RIA HQ for today.

It was apparently attempted but the forum is a retard. Ie it doesn't work and still tries to search everything first.

So there's my idea: an offsite archive for all the two+ year old unpinned crap.

I was at a friends house this weekend, but when I get back to my house, I'll download and setup a test forum and fiddle with the coding. I mean, SMF is open-source, so if necessary, I can just tell you guys what code to adjust to give the ability to exclude specific forums. Again, not rocket science.
