They are separate because they are too different to be combined.  I mean, you don't want to mix your porn with your spam do you?

I know they aren't as used as they once were, but I think that the setup we have right now is decent and works well.

However, if anyone else has suggestions or objections to how it is right now, let me know.  I am 100% willing to work with changing things up.

I mean, our style of forum basically is the opposite of the READ THE STICKY OMG DONT DOUBLE POST!!! type, but having a bunch of useless boards is almost like a black hole of potential discussion. It's like, why would I want to talk about Chedder Cheese in the Cheese forum if nobody posted there? Might as well post in the way more popular Food board.

Speaking of which, I don't understand a forum for porn unless it's links to porn. I can't imagine making a topic YUP JUST JACKED IT TO THIS and having someone post WOW NICE JACK ID JACK IT TO THAT TOO

Kenny, you don't even want to know my original plan for archiving and cleaning.

I did a light re-org but nothing compared to my original plan.  I was stopped before I was able to enact it.  Check yer PM for details.  I think if you'll support it, I can probably get my original plan of cleaning the living shit out of the forums back up.

The fact that they're there is the only reason they get posts. Going by your suggestion, they might as well not exist at all.

The obvious solution is to have girls make posts either a. in those boards to revive activity or b. about those interests in the RI board, so the other boards won't be necessary.

we can pay them in tech, just assure them we won't ask them to do anything illegal, or to respond to any posts by leo.

Bum is correct. For example if the writing forum did not exist, there would be no one at all posting poems or flash fiction. It simply would not happen.

By their existence alone is why the topics exist there, just keep that in mind for any overarching forum plans (Which need to happen since this place looks like crap if you're fully masked).

well, I've sent my proposed list of changes for my first round of cleaning to the rest of the gov.  So far, I'm mostly interested in the Archives before I move on to other stuffs.

Also, I already reorganized The Lounge to it's current state so I'll leave it like this.

The reason I adjusted it it like I did, is so that it's not necessary to goto RI anymore to get to the creative and such forums.  But, if peeps want me to, I can always shift it up again.  I'm not beyond making things more efficient.

The big thing I wanna do, is organize a lot of shit by year.
