Um.... really, for the first time ever? *rifles through pages of pick-up lines he has tried on Mia*

And Leo does stupid things daily, he wouldn't be Leo otherwise.
Loving you has never been stupid.

You don't count.

My Halloween was boring. All my friends went out and got drunk, instead I went to bed on time and had to get up early. IS THIS WHAT GETTING OLD MEANS. Though I celebrated by going to a drag show later on.

We've all done stupid things at one point or another. Part of being human.

So yesterday I got hit on for the first time and I am completely oblivious when it happened. I spent the bus ride home laughing at myself. I didn't realize when he called my number to verify it was my cell that he was making a pass at me.

I am a nuke turret and I am alright with that.
I wish.. the worst thing about deleting and starting over.

I suspect I would feel like Mia.. if it were not for the pleasure of sending some green.

Political simulator my pasty white flap-jacks.

Well for me, it was I always involved in government, at some point I will leave this game permanently but right now I am just piddling around until I feel like leaving. But I stopped giving a fuck about my nation ages ago, it is just I had a giant nation that could smash people. I just collected, I am doing the same now except my nation is a poor example of what a nation should be. I used to care about nation building but I built my expertise in FA instead.

I've spent so much time in Children's in the past year and a half that the last thing I want to do is watch videos about it.

I spent a lot of time in hospitals myself at points, the reason I like this video is for people who don't have that experience. This video is great for kids who are in hospitals and those who only see the sad cancer stories on TV. This isn't about the kids suffering, it is about them thriving and hopefully getting better.

I don't love hospitals but I do love this video.

And I am sorry to hear about your troubles.

The fact you worked at Disney makes me squee

Would you like pixie dust with that squee?

I think we all have those moments in romantic relationships - though I really see no point in reliving those personally once you've analyzed it and moved on.

But I have done some really wtf moments outside of relationships that still make me chuckle.

You could do just what I did, I deleted and then created a nation I don't give a fuck about.

Man I mean, I created this one a few days ago.  But you have to build enough that you have something to have fun with, you know?

....

no, I don't know

Exactly. I deleted a nation that was about 5 years old, had almost all the wonders I could have, had a ton of tech, and infrastructure, I have a piddly little nation now that has shit nothing and I am not doing anything with it. That is why I deleted my first nation - I don't give a shit about my nation.

Some really stupid moments that you ask yourself later why did I do that?

For me, I felt really great this morning when I went for an interval run.. but I am starting to regret that now that I remember I have to be here until 9 PM and I woke up at 5 AM to run. But yay, running.

I also managed to fall down after 8 years of not falling at Disney.

Well it is not INTENTIONALLY crying.

But this video:
Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock performs Katy Perry's Roar
is just plain awesome. And sad but awesome.

Watch it or else I will sic Leo on you.

YouTube is noteworthy most of all for the comment section, which is apocalyptically bad

You mean apocalyptically horrifyingly awesome, even though it makes me question how humanity continues to exist.

Oh Florida. I love you.

lol, I wonder how they'd even seek to enforce this. Jurisdiction on the internet is very difficult to define.

I hated the movie. I read the series, got addicted to the books enough that I am rereading it. I find the books actually a good read. I spent the entire movie sitting there going "HEY WAIT YOU ARE MISSING THE IMPORTANT DETAILS FROM THE BOOK!". I feel like the movie is mediocre on its own, that it'd be bearable if I hadn't read the books but that what made the books good to me, the deeper themes involved was removed due to the way they changed the details that were important, left out certain developments, more emphasis on some things and completely removed meaning. Makes me wonder how they tend to write future movies. Though I have to applaud how they figured out how to explain certain things that were written from the book that had to be explained somehow.

Still though...

Liked the books better.

Hmm, I've read the first book and going to  see the movie this Thursday. Now I am wondering if I shouldn't see it. :P
