The FCC? The Federal Communications Commission. A US special interest group, given power by congress, dedicated to censoring anything and everything that might have any hint of being offensive to anyone and everyone. They monitor the radio, movies, and television, passing regulations on what THEY deem appropriate for viewers to watch/hear. If your lyrics go onto a radio station uncensored and they say fuck for instance, they'd slap a fine on you. If your tv show has excessive swearing and it's not bleeped out you're up shit creek without a bailout from the government.

 Most people hate them, even regular old joes like me. They show us how free speech just isn't free.


Oh, they also have power to regulate telecommunications via wire, satellite, or cable. Yeah, a special interest group created and give power by congress to pretty much tell us we're too stupid to know what we like and what is and isn't offensive.


^That is my view of the FCC.... anyone else want to add on to it?
