So me and my friend were talking about weird dreams we've had. He wrote down one he had, but before he showed me it he wanted to hear if I had one. And I did have an odd one actually. Don't skip anything or it won't make sense.
The dream starts with me waking up in a tainted, dusty area. I rub my eyes and see I'm in some kind of helicopter. Next to me is my best friend. I pat him on the shoulder and he gets up. We're both wearing military gear, and we both have M-16 rifles and full camo. He wakes up three guys around him and we stumble out of the chopper. We look around and we're in some kind of city thats completely annihilated. The skeletons of skyscrapers stand against an orange, hazy sky. Dust is blowing in all directions, frames of cars litter the highway we crashed on. Our team walks towards the city. We make our way to a somewhat intact building and camp in what was probably the kitchen. We start talking about what could have happened, why everything was gone. But it was painfully obvious: A nuclear weapon had hit. From who? To who? The dream did not say. And then, it hit me. In the dream I realized we'd be dead from radiation. It must have not been a nuke, it must have contained something else. Immediately my friend and I open fire on our comrades as they begin mutating and transforming into creatures. We kill them and run, run, run down the highway. We find an old cabin thats undamaged. We locate old clothes and put them on, throwing our blood stained camo out the window. My friend drops to the floor, I drop, I wake up.
IRL time. My friend is staring at me in disbelief, and begins telling me his dream.
In his dream him and I woke up in a cabin. We were both tired, hungry, and wearing old musty clothes and we had weapons. In his dream we walked outside into the same environment. We walked down the highway, hearing something behind us the whole time. Then we see the silhouette of a man on a hill, clutching something. We run up the hill. The man stabbed himself in the heart while holding a camera to his face. We play back whats on the camera: "Hello, my name is Ron. The news says something has been launched at us. That we should evacuate. Its not a nuke, but it is a missile. Its coming our way. Impact s--" Immediately the camera flys out of his hands, frozen at the sky that turns itself red and orange. Screaming can be heard, then silence. Then roars, gunshots--Havoc. The man picks up the camera and runs out of the building he's in. From the camera you could see people running and dying. Then it stops for about a minute, then plays again. "This is Ron. I've escaped 'Hotspot', but I still feel like a creature is hunting me. I know its here somewhere. I know it, but its invisible. Hunting me. Waiting." Then with the camera facing his face we can see something materialize behind him. Dripping with blood, tattered clothes of a once normal person hanging off its distorted body. The creature lunges at the man, but Ron hears it coming. He runs outside, onto a hill. "I WON'T JOIN THEM. I'D RATHER HELL!" and the man stabs himself. Camera goes black. We both retreat, afraid its hunting us too. We run back to the cabin, and run up the stairs. In a rocking chair, facing the top of the stairs is an old man in a rocking chair, all skin and bone. He gets up, transforms into a creature, and kills us both. My friend wakes up.
@__@ I had one half of the dream, appearently. How fucking cool is that? This dream bugs me, it really bugs me. What the hell does it mean?
