I got harrassed to recruit from here, but since Im lazy I just took this from the Grämlin boards. I know some play already and have their corps and thats fine and everything.
To make this topic more interesting to non-internetspaceshipgame-players and interestees, I shall add porn this weekend - should I remember to.

Hi all, for those who haven't heard yet, a bunch of us recently started playing EVE Online together in a corporation originally started by Syzygy. After some weeks of pvp ganking by older players in the game, and syzygy burritos the corp to be replaced by jmm as corporation CEO, we have now been accepted into an Alliance in the game called Dark Matter Consortium, made up of a few other pvp corporations and now totaling almost 180 members with our inclusion in the alliance.
We are now ready to start accepting new members to the Corporation again, now we are able to properly protect people and also able to safely conduct fleet missions for mining and fighting operations to earn money for the corporation and to train our skills. We are looking to recruit pretty much only from within CN atm, in order to maintain a close knit group in the corporation as we grow in size and experience.
If you are interested in trying out the game, we can send a 21 day trial offer to your email, this requires no Credit Card to activate and use the trial. If you decide to continue playing after the trial period, it is then $20 USD initially which includes your first month, then $15 USD a month after that, or there is billing in Euro as well available. After 3-6 months you can expect to be making enough money in game that you can buy PLEX (pilot licence extension) from the market in game for around 350-375 million isk, which grants you 30 extra days account time.
Anyone joining up on a trial account is welcome to join our corporation, and if they do so will receive help with money and how to play the game during their trial period, and if you then convert to a full account to keep playing, we have a grants program to give you the seed money you need to get started in the profession of your choice in game, as well as a +3 implant program and a ship replacement program, to help members progress in the game faster and to replace ships lost in PVP.
With the new expansion to the game - Apocrypha - having gone live on the servers 1 week ago now, there is no better time to join the world of EVE online and experience what a true sandbox type MMO can be like, and with the new skill training queue system introduced in the patch, its easier than ever before to tailor your playtime around 1-3+ day breaks from the game if you can't login regularly without being severely hindered as a new player having to train so many short skills (the 4-10hr skills were the pain w/out the queue).

I spend about 5 hours or so a week. but if you get into a serious alliance, you can spend 5 hours in a single day on an op.

It depends, you can advance from 1h a week to 23/7. Since the skill training is always advancing (as long as you set to train a skill), you are not forced to grind xp or whatever.
The only thing you really get with 23/7 online is money. At first youll need a bit more time though, to get comfy with the complex gameplay and controls and whatnot.
