I gotta side with Bum here. The shit Llama has been saying makes little to no sense. I tried to reason with him, but its like he's baked 24/7. His argument constantly changes and its so loose and subjective that its just pointless to even rant about, and he's posted more about his burritos than he has anywhere else. Walls of text and paragraphs have flown out of his mouth based on this, but he's done little before it to try and fit in or change the environment beyond grave digging. And that's it.
you're completely fucking retarded. many times over the months I've posted paragraph long shit on serious topics. and several times I have become very vocal about policy decisions, again logging in several tldrs. my argument hasn't changed, in fact I wasn't even starting an argument or complaining. I just said 'things are different from how I like so good luck guys you do your thing I'm not playing that way.' and then people asked me why or asked me to stay, and when I went into detail about my position you and whoever else started disagreeing with me.
we used to have a lot more lulz, we used to have a lot more activity that wasn't just srs bzns activity about playing the game. I liked it that way. It has changed. That's fine. I have no right to tell people to only enjoy things the way I enjoy them. I don't think RIA owes it to me to stay the same if most of the members want to keep changing, go for it. but you're pretty oblivious if you can't tell that things have changed. and that's the only thing I'm arguing with if I am arguing at all; this idea that things are just as lulzy and insane and random as they were before. because they're not.
I even went to special lengths to make sure that I did what I could to fix the 'problem' if it even is a problem. I'm not even really complaining. but I went to special lengths to do what I could to influence the RIA to be random and insane and embody the ideals I believed in. and once I felt like most people weren't with that I didn't think it woudl be right to influence so I stopped trying. even the way I stopped trying I made sure not to be just complaining about shit I did nothing about.
tldr: I've done shit tons of things on teh forums here and you're retardedly out of touch, czom. I mean I like you as a fellow member but god help us if you become tri because if you are as clueless about other RIAer's sentiments as you are about mine, and as ignorant of their posts as you are of mine, then you'd be a liability in a representative role.
and GPM: I remember older members complaining of what I'm talking about. I took that into account when I looked back over the years; there have been many many times I was bored but thought, let's stay and see if it gets more interesting, and in the meantime let's try to make it interesting. And, that often worked. But, in spite of my attempts, there has still been a steady decline in the kind of activity I enjoy. There may be momentary surges and lapses, but overall the style of the RIA continues to change away from an active random insane chillax community, toward a more sedated game-focused one.
I've seen many cycles and many old people burritos. even taking that into account I've seen a trend in changing of the alliance focus. this is because the most motivated srs players stay in government and stay active, and the most motivated chillax insanity fun people, well no one wants them in gov because more of the membership wants to save their pixels, so these people have less and less power to be themselves in the context of the game, so they get bored because they can't represent their own internal ratios of chillaxity/srs/lulz etc. because the government, and probably most of the membership, prefer to play srsly, and so that's the direction the RIA goes, and this marginalizes the style that anyone else wants to play in. which is fine. if RIA wants to play that way they should do so. just don't give me shit as if I'm making this all up. it's plain as day to anyone who actually gives a shit about that kind of game style.
ok, I suck at tldr. but czom, you're pretty dumb man. srsly. I've taken a lot of stances on things over the years and didn't want to even hint that I'd leave if I didn't get my way, so I guess you missed it because my language wasn't strong enough. maybe next time I want to get a point across I should hit you in the face just to make sure I'm not being too subtle. RIA has changed, that's fine, you acting like it isn't *really* changing is dumb.
