I am a HUGE Star Wars fan, Egg. I haven't read as much of the EU as I should, but I know much of what there is to know about the SW universe (Or galaxy).

I'm going to the store tomorrow to pick up some lightsaber parts. I want to try my hand at building one.

Anyway, what are your favorite...I dunno, "things" about the magnificent world (Or galaxy) of SW?

Yeah, I like how everything and everyone is interconnected. Not lacking in backstory at all. Although, in the movies, I would have liked to have seen more Jedi characters explored. I don't want to go searching through comics and books to find some cool story about an awesome extra character from the movies.

You mean like Aayla Secura the Female Jedi in Ep III, who's EU story makes her awesome but she gets pwned in the movie?

Start with the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, pretty much very other EU story is based off of those books, since they were the 1st

So Egg, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me:

Was Darth Bane right in his partially-supported theory that the force is finite? I mean, without the Rule of Two, the Sith seem to be pretty fine, except during Bane's time. But I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

GFFA?

I read I, Jedi, and Shatterpoint... Some more as well, like some NJO stuff,  but I can't remember the exact books.

I, Jedi was just flippin' awesome, but I don't think I got it as well as I could have if I had read the other Academy books.

I think the way the OT was done was great, though I wish they could have included more jedi background in there... I was honestly rather lost when I was a child, and didn't understand everything until I was older, and TPM had already come out.

I wish there would have been more gravity on the fact that Luke was, in a very real sense, the LAST Jedi. In the movies, he was the last, though in the EU books there were supposedly a lot more...

In the EU, did he ever learn from another Jedi? He must have at one point... Also, the infamous question: How long was he with Yoda? I know he was with Obi-Wan for a few weeks or so...
