It was pretty easy.  Once you start up Ubuntu for the first time and go the starting wizard it'll ask you how you want it divided.  You just tell it to give x gigs to Vista and y to Ubuntu.  I didn't have to go anywhere, it just asked you  you wanted it the first time,
