I may have very well failed my differential equations final. A math final. How the hell do you fail a math final.
Life sucks.
I have a physics final in 2.5 hours, and a calc final in 3.5 days.
I hope my parents don't kill me.
Maybe I should take a nap.

I'm sure it's easy to fail a math final.
PLUS
It's not the end of the world, though you think it is. College is a learning experience, and as long as you learned something, then good job. Screw grades, screw evaluations: as long as you get something out of the experience and have the knowledge what to do with your life, then you'll be ok.
(I'm not saying grades aren't important though, oftentimes they end up reflecting on what you did take with you anyways. Plus you don't want to flunk out of college.)
-
I've failed every math test I've taken this year. Though I am only in grade 11. On one test I got 14%...>_>
-
Err, Kaiser, I'm not sure if I should feel consoled or sorry, but I hope you (as well as I) do better on your next math tests!
And yeah, you're right Commisar, but I still wish that I had done better than that. Math is actually one of the things that I can claim to be proficient at, so it's kind of depressing to me if I don't do well in it.
On a side note, I found out that I could have had 50% higher on that exam if I remembered to use the damned method of variation of parameters on just TWO questions. Confound it!
-
No need to feel anything just a random bit of trivia that I felt like throwing out there.
-
I think I've aced every math test I've had for the last 9-10 years. O_o
-
I was sitting on a 50% (exactly) average before my recent maths exam and I think I failed it too . But hey, there's always next year...
-
Hahaha... next year... lawl.
-
fuck, i gotta take an assessment test on math/engrish/something else.
-
Well if you still think its called "Engrish" I don't think you're going to pass.
-
Math I was good at.
Calculus is a whole other beast and is a horrible horrible subject.....
-
I got Finals on Tuesday.
-
Dang. One more calc final tomorrow!
-
Well, I got A's in all of my finals, except for psych, which I got a C in.
That means I don't get credit for the class.
Oh well. 3 1/2 years of college left to make up for that mistake X_X

hysics final in 2.5 hours, and a calc final in 3.5 days.
Study?

hysics final in 2.5 hours, and a calc final in 3.5 days.
Study?
Studying is for the weak....
or maybe its the fact that i do IR/business and well, its all so fuckin simply LOL......but damn i'm glad i decided not to do anything with actual math/science involved..... one of the best decisions of my life.
-
To the study suggestion, I say what I always do: Pft, studying. Actually, I only say that about language quizes.
-
Actually, I need to cram 5 chapters of calc because I haven't been to class lately... for the past 3 months. >_> lawl next semester hopefully this won't occur again.

i usually don't study for my tests and just try and wing it. even speeches.
i find that improvisation will help you out a lot more in the end. i mean, when you talk to people, you're not going to have time to study/write a speech.
-
I've found winging it on speeches actually ISN'T a good idea. It's really not like just talking to people at all because you're getting up in front of a large group of people who won't be talking back most of the time, you have to cite your sources, present it in an organized fashion, and cut all the crap from your daily speaking out that doesn't fit in with more formal speaking styles.
So, you don't need to memorize the whole damn speech or anything, but you DO need an outline with you when you go up to speak, preferably with some notes on it, and a good idea of what you want to say beforehand. Some people can get away with making up their speech on the fly, but for most people trying it is probably going to result in them crashing and burning, hard.
