I don't know if you already knew this. But anyway.

It is cheaper for nations to buy tech like this:

10
5.5

Buying 50 tech this way costs around 820k. While buying 50 tech in 5 lots of 10 costs 860k.
It is only 40k difference but it does add up if you do enough tech deals.

Note: This is when buying from 0 tech.

because the jumps arent at even 10s.

Don't forget about this. It's still the cheapest way I know of.
