Basically all you need to do is add "&fmt=18" (without the quotes of course) onto the end of any Youtube video URL.
For example,
http://youtube.com/watch?v=80DtQD5BQ_A (http://youtube.com/watch?v=80DtQD5BQ_A)
Here is a Youtube Video without the attribute.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=80DtQD5BQ_A&fmt=18 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=80DtQD5BQ_A&fmt=18)
Now, here is a Youtube video with the original, full quality.
Neat trick, huh? If you have a good broadband connection, crank that quality up and have a blast!

kenny,
you just won the internet, all of it (again)
-
Be warned, that if a video was uploaded that already had terrible quality, this won't do anything for the video.
All this does is show the quality of the video as it was uploaded. A lot of the original videos on Youtube have much higher quality than is actually shown, so, this should make the experience a lot better.

tried this for some music videos that the quality was way too low to see anything
they were amazing
like 45 fps id bet

Holy shit!
I didn't think there was a way to make this: Mz. Peaches (http://youtube.com/watch?v=rGrqW3nx5HM&fmt=18) any better.
I was wrong.

I notice NO difference on anything. <_<

thats cuz ur eyes are shrouded in mystery.
-
Kenny, you're awesome! How'd you figure that out?

It works best when you see the two videos side-by-side or switched between tabs.
