Or watch it, if I haven't. I've seen hundreds of movies and its about time I start reviewing them. Most will be quick reviews, some large if I love the movie. (Innuendo ITT.)
Latest three movies I've seen:
The Descent Good old British still doing something good. A bunch of hot british chicks go cave diving and get trapped. They find out they're not alone, and the shit hits the fan. Sound crappy? It isn't. The worst possible idea ever got made into a kickass horror. The acting isn't good and half the time you expect everyone to break out in a sex scene since its sub-porno acting, but aside for that its damn good. The atmosphere and setting made this movie really scary. Night vision scene anyone? The ending really made me smile too. For once a smart slasher. Go figure. Monsters were badass for the first half then it really went overboard.
The Breach On the flip side of The Descent, this is an extremely slow paced study of Robert Hanssen. I know the man is supposed to be dry boring and cold but... thats not how you make a good spy movie. I was bored to tears with the acting and Robert was a walking statue. One has to wonder how the movie version even came into contact with the Russians let alone out witting everyone when you expect him to forget where he is any minute. Bad acting and cliches abound in this snooze fest.
No Country for Old Men What happens when you mix Terminator with the old west? You get an Oscar worthy movie. In this incredibally simple movie a man finds a lot of money in a car that was shot up in a firefight. He tries to escape with it, but a hitman has a GPS device in the bag. He hunts him down and slowly corners him. The killer himself is one of the most badass villains around and his unigue almost canned air gun rules. Also, the ending will hit you like a car.

Juno: When I watch a 'feel good' movie, I want two things. A: Good characters B: Good mix of humor/serious. And I rarely watch those movies cause its apparently illegal in the United States of Testosterone. Juno doesn't achieve either of my marks and delivers one of the most painful and annoying movies in a long time. Its so 'witty' it turns impossibly smug, with every other live a shot at wit that makes your stomach roll. Too much retarded humor/attempts at being cool. Wizard, anyone? And the cast is lame. Juno would only get banged by a crowbar, her boyfriend couldn't be more stereotypical and THIS MOVIE SUCKS.
Pan's: I'm not sure how to review this since this is more of a tale then it is a movie. Its morbid, depressing, and completely fucking cool. A girl ends up going to a camp with her mother to meet her (Officer) Step Father amidst the Spanish civil war. And she goes on a trip given to her by a creepy ass creature to do really odd stuff. Really morbid, interesting, and full of win.

Blackula
Its actually Blacula. Its a campy movie, but its funny. I watched it a long time ago and I'd stick it on the same shelf with the original The Thing, Plan 9 and Rocky Horror. Good campy fun.

Rocky Horror is fun *if* you get the experience. I'm talking the whole fucking wackjobs at the theater for a midnight screening type experience.
Next contestant:

I would hardly call it a "feel good" movie. It has elements of romance in it, yes, and things are good in the end, yes, but it's not a "feel good" movie.

I don't know about you, but when I was 15, every other thing my friends and I said was a shitty attempt at humor or being cool.
Wizard, anyone?
I have friends who say this. There's a lot of vocabulary differences across the US, and the vocabulary in this movie is common in some area.
Juno would only get banged by a crowbar,
She's not my avatar due to my love of the movie. :v
her boyfriend couldn't be more stereotypical
Agreed. I hate Michael Cera.
and THIS MOVIE SUCKS

Any movie that gives you a tragic or misforuntuate (Or in my case, hilarious.) scenario and then rams humor down your throat like you're Andy Dufrain isn't actually sad. It was feel good because all it tried to do was make you laugh. I'm sure when the baby was born it was George Carlin or Bozo the clown.

When I was 15--Er, I am now--I would have thrown myself off a bridge before I tried to say one line including the phrase burger and phone in the same sentence.
Nigga please, stop stompin my crib.
Same.

Did we watch the same movie? The movie I watched was more drama than comedy.

Children of men: Upon seeing this movie, I sat there for a good five minutes thinking about it. The acting is phenominal, the pacing is great and the plot is equally good. There is nothing wrong with this movie, except perhaps some technical ones. Clive Owens can do no wrong and gives the best performance of his career. I can compare this movie to being hit by a car while reading the suicide note of your best friend. Its horribly beautiful.
