Title: So did anyone hear about the golfer who got attacked by a gator in Florida?

He came over tonight though so I have some pics of the wounds. Most of them have healed up so it doesn't look too bad. I might post them later.

Post by: vgmmaster on July 01, 2007, 07:22:13 pm: I heard about the story a few days ago or whenever. I will admit that I did laugh at the golfer for jumping into the pond just for a ball. I golf a bit myself along with my dad, so I know what it's like to lose a ball.

Well, he didn't jump in. It was right on the edge of the pond and as soon as he grabbed it it latched onto his arm.

Post by: schneereich on July 02, 2007, 12:36:32 am: well... there was a "beware of alligator" sign. then again, they have those signs everywhere and i never see any alligators. this is another reason why humans shouldnt be living in the southern part of florida (and yet i am one of them)

Post by: bburger991 on July 02, 2007, 12:13:59 pm: The sign was on the opposite side of the pond though, he never saw it. The next day the course put up a huge BEWARE OF GATOR sign that they've been showing on TV.
