i know what an infra jump is, but how does it help you?

When you reach 1,000 infra your infra maintenance increases considerably. Because of this, you are better off having 999 or 999.99 infra than 1,000 or little over that. So you stay at 999.99 until you've saved enough money to buy a big bunch of infra at once, enough infra to make sure all the extra income you get exceeds the extra loss you get from higher infra bills.

There are also infra jumps at 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 and 8,000. There might be smaller jumps before reaching 1,000 infra, but usually nobody cares about them, they are not that bad.
