Title: a laptop

So I got a laptop today

it is an asus x83 (i think)
black and gold
4 gigs ram
2.0ghz intel core 2 duo
250ish gig hdd
nvidia 9300 w 512 dedicated memory
vista home premium

I'll put a picture up when i find one
it does not exist online anywhere

Meh,

My years old alienware (pre-dell)  would toast your laptop.



100 gig drive with a 1TB external
2GB DDR 3 ram
Geforce 6800 (STFU IT WAS BRAND NEW AT THE TIME)
Duel (not Duo, which means, 1 processor this speed and one that isn't) 3.2 ghz pent 4's.


It has to be connected to an external cooling system or it shuts-down after about 15 minutes.

Plus, the battery has about 5-10 minutes of life...

lol my laptop sux

it isn't THAT bad, but i don't know anything about the hardware

but it seems when I reformatted it those few times, this time around I don't have a driver for wired internetz (or ethernet)
not to change the subject, but where could I get one of those?

cost only $850
even the shit alienware laptops are like $1500

i just priced it out
with a worse graphics card (8600) but better hdd its $1938 from alienware
and on top of that i got 2 crapware programs on this
thats it 0_0

well my crapware was a 90day trial of norton and a 60 day trial of office 2007
i own office and real security software so i dont need anything else
but the rest of it isint trials and i use it

My laptop was bought in 2005.


It's actually classified as a mobile desktop.  Anyways, your laptop seems like it will function as a laptop, instead of a mobile desktop...

I've actually got a new laptop on the way that should arrive soon (it's customized for programming with thinks like flash, C++, VB, ETC)
