Title: Firefox
Post by: Jac on November 01, 2008, 07:45:13 pm
I fell stupid saying this, but I never really liked Firefox, it never really worked that well for me. So I've been using Internet explorer for a while, but I've been convinced again to try it, but now I have a guide of sorts helping me, which is actually making it a lot better.  But now there's a problem,  for some reason it wont load youtube vids and it is saying that I don't have the latest java script, I click on the link to download, then it leads me to adoble, so I try to download it, and it tells me I have to close Firefox to make it so it will download. But when I closed the windows, it gave me the same damn message, I tried just downloading it of IE but after I downloaded it it still didn't work. What do I do?

you don't have the flash player plugin and something is blocking you from downloading it, you are probably quitting a wrong window somewhere...I'm not sure what you're doing wrong here, does the flash player install?

Firefox has to be open to be able to download something through Firefox, as common sense states. What it's probably asking you is to restart Firefox in order for the download to take effect. So once you close and open Firefox it should be working.

At least that's what it sounds like.

Never mind I fix, Flask helped after I went through every single last detail with him.
